I hope this finds everyone well. I didn’t preach this past Sunday so I don’t have any notes to share. However, I am excited about this Sunday’s sermon. 2 verses in John 12 hit me from out of the blue. I had never paid much attention to them before but when I made the connection the whole passage came into clear focus. I hope to see you then.

Tomorrow night we will begin a study on the 5 Practices of Healthy Congregations. Please make plans to be a part of this study.

Susan Nolan’s husband, Bobby, needs our prayers. He is scheduled for spinal surgery on Friday.

If you were in our Sunday morning class this past Sunday then you got to witness a great video about giving glory to God. Deborah Locklear sent me this note Sunday afternoon:

One of my friends from Buffalo called today. Her name is Laurie. I told her “our class this morning was about when the Bills played the Houston Oilers” and before I could say anything else, she said “yeah, I was saved b/c of that game.” She said she went to a Michael English concert after hearing Frank say the words to the song and was saved. I told her you had this video and she wants a copy. She also said that she wanted to meet Frank and about three years ago, he was in Buffalo doing some annual thing he does, and she got to. She said he said that a lot of people come up to him and say the same things she got to tell him that day.
